'NUKU' is every bit as lovely as it looks on the website. The only sounds to disturb sleep are the waves, the calls of the handsome wild parrots and the occasional 'crump' of ripe coconuts dropping onto the beach. For two truly blissful weeks the locals fed and entertained us with delicious traditional island food, spontaneous music, eye-wateringly beautiful informal singing and dancing, snorkeling along the barrier reef, to say nothing of fabulous corals less than 50 meters from my bed. It's hard to imagine having a more authentic and warm and wonderful introduction to a very beautiful country."
